<b>DURHAM</b> — Durham Police and the Division of MotorVehicles are cracking down on illegal inspection stickers. That was thereason behind several checkpoints set up in Durham Thursday.

Police say there have been problems recently with counterfeit stickers andthe theft of legitimate stickers. They say these practices often surfacewhen people fear their cars won't pass inspections.
