RALEIGH — With fresh memories of what life is like during the aftermath of disaster, some Triangle volunteers are reaching out to help tornado-stricken Arkansas.
volunteers started loading a truck full of personal care items and cleaning supplies Monday afternoon. The Helping Hand Mission hopes to have the truck, which was donated by Budget Rentals, headed west Monday night.
Most of the supplies are leftover donations from the Triangle's tangle with Hurricane Fran.
