Shots Fired During Fayetteville Bank Robbery

— A Fayetteville bank was held up Friday afternoon. The robber entered the NationsBank on Ramsey Street wearing a ski mask.

Police say he fired two shots, then told everyone in the bank to get down onto the floor.

He then jumped the counter, grabbed handsful of cash, and fled.

Several patrons of the bank reported that the chased the bank robber and another man into the nearby woods, where the two men got away.

The men exited the woods in a nearby parking lot where they jumped into a blue Izusu Trooper with Illinois plates and sped away.

Police were still looking for the men Saturday morning.
