Posted February 25, 1997

— Police are looking for a group of teenagers they said jumped and beat up four adults and a 5-year-old child at a laundromat during the weekend.

Police said the attackers, who were all Black, used two-by-fours and glass bottles to assault their Hispanic victims. One officer said he would classify the attack as a hate crime.

All the victims were treated at local hospitals and have now been released. No arrests have been made.
