FAYETTEVILLE — Police in Cumberland County say a man attempted to break into a woman's house Friday night, but she stopped him ... with a bullet.
The incident occurred off Highway 401-North in the Kelly Hills Subdivision.
Police say it is a classic case of self defense, and that they will not charge the woman.
The injured man, however, will face charges.
