FAYETTEVILLE — After declining offers of assistance, a Fayetteville woman has died, and police are investigating.
Police responded to an assault call on Simpson Drive.
But the victim seemed to be all right, and didn't want to file a report.
Several hours later, 42-year-old Linda McKoy lost consciousness and died.
