SANFORD — Thirty-three-year-old Donald Abercrombie was sentenced Friday to two life terms in prison.
Earlier in the week the Spring Lake man was convicted of killing an elderly Lee County couple, even though their bodies have never been recovered.
The jury had the choice of life terms or the death penalty.
Hoyle Smith, 79, and Margie Shaw Boone, 66, were killed in November, 1995.
