FUQUAY-VARINA — A 57-year-old man was killed and two women were burned after fire engulfed a trailer near the Wake-Harnett County line.
The fire broke out about 4 a.m. Four people were inside at the time. Preston Council died in the fire. A 79-year-old woman, a 43-year-old woman and a small child fled the trailer. The women suffered burns.
