CHAPEL HILL — A school bus driver who admitted to drinking vodka and beer hours before transporting students will not face charges.
Prosecutors dropped the case against Cecil Ingram Wednesday saying they could not prove he was impaired when he was behind the wheel. The driver said hediddrink four hours before picking up students at Ephesus Elementary School.
Ingram has been fired from his job.
