RALEIGH — Emergency crews searched a creek Friday morning near the Neuse River and U.S. 401 in northern Wake County after finding a four-wheel, all-terrain vehicle turned upside down and abandoned.
Police called off the search saying they have no reason to believe that anyone was on the vehicle. They said they were searching the area as a precaution. A deputy found the vehicle this morning while on patrol.
The search was called off shortly after noon.
