FAYETTEVILLE — Police have found a Hope Mills man they say ran from the scene of a fatal car accident.
About 11 Saturday night, a car was traveling down Rosalyn Road, just outside Fayetteville. Then it smashed into a tree and flipped over.
The driver took off on foot, leaving a passenger who was killed on being thrown from the vehicle.
Investigators say 21-year-old Cody Seals was driving. The passenger, Jeanette Rivera, 21, was killed.
Police said Seals was found early Sunday and faces several charges, including drunk driving and death by motor vehicle.
