DUNN — Dunn police are investigating a pair of shootings that they think might be related.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Days Inn Monday night and found 21-year-old Brandon Lee Monds shot twice. He later died at a local hospital.
Just moments after that shooting, shots rang out again at a nearby service station. Police found another man shot twice. That man is in stable condition.
Investigators say they know of no apparent motive and do not a suspect.
