RALEIGH — Raleigh police hope a new poster will helpthem solve the murders of six African-American women. Photographs of fiveof the victims appear on the poster.
All of the victims had a history of involvement either with drugs orprostitution. Most were strangled to death.
Last Wednesday, police arrested 60-year-old Leman Evans and charged himin connection with the death of DeWanna Burt whose body was found in aparking lot last January. Her likeness is not on the new poster.
