DURHAM — Finally, there's some relief on the way for people who travel along Interstate 85 north of Durham. The North Carolina Department of Transportation says expansion of the 11-mile stretch near Falls Lake to four lanes should be completed by summer.

That's the same construction zone where eight people died in last summer's tractor-trailer and multi-vehicle accident. Wrecks and traffic jams have plagued the area for the past two years.
