DURHAM — If you, like many, spent the past weekend undecorating your home, and if you live in Durham, the city is ready to pick up your discarded tree.
Pick-up started Monday and will continue through Saturday. Hours of pick-up are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All you have to do is place your tree on the curb to take advantage of the city service.
If you prefer to do it yourself, you can take your tree to the city's landfill free of charge. The landfill is located at 2115 East Club Blvd. in Durham.
