RALEIGH — The Federal Emergency Management Agency has again extended its deadline for helping North Carolina residents with relief from Hurricane Fran. There is now an extra month, with the new deadline set for February 4, 1997.
If you live in one of the 54 counties President Clinton declared disaster areas, you may be eligible for assistance. Call 1-800-462-9029 if you need help. The number to call if you're hearing impaired: 1-800-462-7585.
This assistance is for repair of damage to homes only.
