Over 200 Cary Homes Without Gas

Posted January 2, 1997

— A construction crew has cut a gas line in Cary leaving 215 homes without service Thursday afternoon.

The crew was digging in the Glenridge subdivision when the line was cut. It has since been repaired, but utility officials say they don't expect all service to be restored until around 11 p.m. because service personnel have to restart each pilot light in the area.
