RALEIGH — A group of angry fathers is talking toGovernor Jim Hunt and getting some response. The group, known as FathersAgainst the Crackdown, expressed anger that its member were being forcedto pay child support, but that there was no legal recourse for fathers whoaren't allowed to visit their children.
The men said earlier this week that they would refuse to pay theirchild support until some steps were taken to address their complaints.
Governor Hunt has now agreed to look into the matter. He has instructedmembers of his legal staff to do some research and report back to him.
