RALEIGH — Investigators say human remainsfound in a soybean field Wednesday in southern Wake County maybe tied to a car accident two monthsago.
A farmer found skeletal remains inthe field Wednesday night. They were found about 50feet from the scene of a Sept. 20 car accident.
In that accident, a car stolen a day or so earlier from Raleigh flippedseveral times at a sharp curve in the road. By the timetroopers arrived, one injured man had been transported to the hospital. Theylearned a second man had left the scene.
Authorities believe the remains found Wednesday may be those of a thirdmanthrown from the car in the accident.
