GARNER — The Garner travel agent accused of skipping town with over $50,000 of her clients' money is fighting extradition.
Police arrested Kelly Kirk in West Virginia Thursday night after Garner police used the Internet to trace a phone number found on Kirk's husband's computer. Kirk owns Garner Travel and Casino Connections. Her customers say she took their money and never booked any travel plans.
North Carolina has 90 days to obtain a governor's warrant which would force Kirk to come back to face charges here.
