Trucker's Case Continued Again

DURHAM — The trial of a Virginia truck driver chargedinan August accident that killed eight people was postponed again Monday,

Esau Dixon faces eight counts of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle. His truck plowed into a line of stopped traffic on Interstate 85.

Relatives of some of the people killed in the crashtold WRAL-TV5 that they plan to file wrongful death civil lawsuits againstDixon.

Veronica Williams, sister of one of the victims, says she thinks it wasDixon's negligence that caused the accident.

The speedometer in the truck showed Dixon was traveling about 10 milesover the "suggested" speed limit in the construction zone where theaccident occurred.

Dixon is due in court again in December.
