RALEIGH — The Department of Motor Vehicles is goingonline next week in a move that should make processing titles, tags andregistrations a much faster operation.
The State Title and Registration System (STARS) will be set up whileDMV offices are closed Tuesday, November 12.
STARS will also streamline renewals, speed up fee computation andprovide more efficient transactions.
