Campaign Worker Crashes Car Into House
Posted November 6, 1996
FAYETTEVILLE — Candidates have seven days to pick up all the signs they stuck on roadsides before the election, and some workers are already out pulling them up. One worker found the job to be more hazardous than it seemed.
A Fayetteville woman was picking up signs when her car rolled into the home of Tom Lindow's family, nearly hitting his sleeping 4-month-old.
The Lindow's children were not hurt. The driver of the car has been charged with failure to properly park her vehicle.
