RALEIGH — An unidentified man remains hospitalizedafter being hit by a bus Tuesday evening.
Investigators say the man was hit at about 7:30 p.m. as he stepped offthe curb on West Hargett Street near St. Marys Street. The victim wastaken to Wake Medical Center where is leg had to be amputated.
The bus driver was charged with several moving violations.
Police don't know the name of the victim who carried noidentification.
