HARNETT COUNTY — A memorial Service for the victims of the terrorist attacks in New York and at the Pentagon drew quite a crowd to Western Harnett County High School Sunday.
The service included a procession of students dressed in period costume depicting battles from the cival war through more recent conflicts. The service paid tribute to the police officers and firefighters who died in the line of duty.
North Carolina Congressman Bob Etheridge told the crowd, the war against terrorism is about the safety of, not just America, but the world.
