LOUISBURG — The investigation following the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington is hitting close to home in Louisburg, where guests of an area hotel were questioned by the FBI.

Agents are checking into four people described as "Arabs" who stayed at the Best Western Sandalwood Inn at the time of the attacks. The four reportedly had suspicious maps and drawings and sent a flurry of faxes before the attacks.

A married couple and two men were detained for several hours and released. The FBI continues to investigate possible ties to the attacks.
