UNC Student Found Dead At His Carrboro Home

CARRBORO — The Carrboro Police Department is investigating the death of a 20-year-old UNC student who was found dead in his Carrboro apartment at about 10:30 a.m. Friday.
The cause of death is unknown, but police suspect that it may be drug-related. They believe there is also a possibility that tainted drugs could be involved. These drugs may have been purchased on or near campus.
Although the investigation is incomplete, the police say they are worried that if tainted drugs are in fact involved, there is a chance other students could be at risk as well.
