Developer To Build Group Home After Fayetteville Council Says No To Offices

Posted Updated

FAYETTEVILLE — A group home for teenage sex offenders may be headed to a Fayetteville neighborhood.

The developer says he will now put one on his property because the city council voted last night against his plans for offices there.

People who live in the Greenwood Homes subdivision have been protesting the plan for weeks. Officials say the group home falls within zoning laws so they cannot stop it.
