Neighborhood On Edge After Two Found Dead In Fayetteville House
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville officials have found a Mercedes-Benz sedan that went missing from a house where two women were found dead last week, and police say they have a possible suspect in the case.

The black Mercedes-Benz E320 was found Monday at about 6 p.m., authorities said.

Police have been tight-lipped about the investigation, not releasing either the names of the victims or the nature of the investigation.

But, they did announce Tuesday in a press release that the death of the women -- which they called a "crime" -- was "not a random act due to information they have gathered up to this point in the investigation."

Officers found two women dead inside a home in the Village at Lakewood subdivision on Saturday. Police said one was a teenager and they were related to each other.

Neighbors said the Mercedes was the family car and that it was missing prior to the arrival of police on the scene.
