Man Arrested In Connection With Durham Car Dealer Death

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police have arrested a man in connection with the slaying of a business owner.

Robert Watson has been wanted by police in connection with the killing and kidnapping of James Morris in mid-May. Police have been searching for him since May 27.

Watson, 34, of 9813 Wilkins Road in Bahama was captured Monday and charged with murder, first-degree kidnapping and common-law robbery, Durham police said.

Morris, 77, was found dead by an employee at his used car business in Durham. Police later found one of Morris' cars near Bahama.
