New Graduates Injured In Raleigh Collision

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — At least two brand-new Wake County high school graduates ended up in the hospital after collecting their diplomas on Saturday.

They were part of a five-car pileup on Western Boulevard, not far from Reynolds Coliseum. Police say a truck driver rear-ended a car at a stoplight. That started the chain-reaction collisions.

The two graduates were in one of the cars. They were treated at Rex Hospital.
