Plans For New Raleigh Housing Development Moving Forward

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — A plan in a historic section of Raleigh will move forward.

The Raleigh City Council recently voted for a new development in the Mordecai neighborhood.

Neighbors and developers had gone back and forth on the proposal because residents were concerned the plan would change the character of the neighborhood and create traffic problems.

After adjustments to the proposal, the plan calls for a scaled-down number of townhomes and single-family homes.
