MOORE COUNTY, N.C. — Moore County authorities said they have not yet confirmed the identity of a body found in a tobacco barn on Thursday.
According to Moore County Sheriff Lane Carter, the body was found in the barn, located on Carthage Road outside of the Seven Lakes area in Moore County.
The body was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Chapel Hill for identification and to determine the cause of death.
Authorities said they do not yet know if the body is local attorney Bill Bost, who was last seen on April 16.
Bost disappeared without his cell phone, wallet or any other personal items. Family and friends have posted fliers throughout the area, hoping to find information on his whereabouts.
