RALEIGH — Prepare to ramble with some red wolves in a few weeks.
The Raleigh Arts Commission showed off the first of about 100 wolves that will be part of its exhibit Tuesday night.
The public was invited to enter a Create-A-Wolf contest. The
winning entries
will be created and displayed across the city.
The entire pack of wolves will be unveiled September 7.The exhibit runs through January, when the wolves will be auctioned.
Similar projects were done with cows in New York and
Chicago
, moose in Toronto and
pigs in Cincinnati
