DURHAM — Election day is a little more than two months away, but people in Durham are getting educated on the issues.
Members of the Inter-Neighborhood Council met Tuesday to brush up on the upcoming bond referendum. Agencies that would benefit from its approval pitched their cases.
The $74 million bond referendum would put aside more than $50 million for school projects. It would also include money for a new emergency medical facility, upgrades for the Museum of Life and Science and a new senior center.
