RTI International Wins Contract To Help Drive Business for Jordan

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — For the next 2½ years,
is going to play business ambassador for the country of Jordan.
RTI said Thursday that it had won a contract with Jordan to help drive Jordanian exports and to encourage American investment in Jordan. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
A free trade agreement already exists between Jordan and the U.S.
"This project provides a unique opportunity for both the United States and Jordan to capitalize on the Jordan U.S. Free Trade Agreement," said Ron Johnson, executive vice president for International Development at RTI. "Jordan's progressive economic reforms, stable economic and political infrastructure, and geographic location provide U.S. trade and investment partners with access to a dynamic and growing regional market."
