CARY, N.C. — A Cary man is charged with trying to hire someone to kill his wife and stepdaughter.
Eric Coker was arrested on March 10 and charged with one count of statutory rape for allegedly raping his stepdaughter. Now he's also been charged with two counts of solicitation to commit a felony homicide.
"We're glad that we can help bring a feeling of security to the victims in this case," said Cary police Capt. Dave Wulff.
Coker remains in the Wake County jail, and his bond has been increased from $1 million for the statutory rape charge to $3 million for all three charges.
