CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill police are investigating a woman's report that she was knocked out and sexually assaulted in a grocery store parking lot.

Police said the alleged attack happened two weeks ago at Ram's Plaza, near Fordham Boulevard, at about 11 p.m., but the alleged victim did not report it to police until Tuesday.

The woman said someone grabbed her from behind and put something over her face. Then, she passed out.

Investigators are checking to see if surveillance cameras in the area may have caught the alleged attack on tape.
