CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — Cumberland County deputies are searching for an assailant in connection with the shooting death of a Cumberland County man.
Authorities said Paul David Peele, 41, was shot to death at his home on Society Lane at about 11:30 p.m. Monday.
Investigators said they currently do not have any suspects or a motive for the shooting.
