Arrest Made In Garner Hit-And-Run

GARNER, N.C. — Garner police have made an arrest in a hit-and-run case.
Tezell Stuart Jr. was arrested Thursday after turning himself in to police. He is charged with one count of felony hit-and-run.
Police say he hit Jerry Smith with his vehicle early Sunday morning on Highway 70 in Garner. At last check, Smith was in critical condition.
"We were able to obtain enough evidence during the investigation to charge Mr. Stuart in this case," said Detective Don McDuffie. "We are still looking for anyone who might have seen something Sunday morning or has any information that could help us in this investigation."
