Woman Wanted In Connection With Raleigh Bank Robbery

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are seeking the public's assistance in catching a female bank robber caught on surveillance video.

Surveillance cameras at the Crescent State Bank at 6408 Falls of Neuse Road took pictures of the woman and her male accomplice during a robbery on Tuesday afternoon.

At about 4 p.m., police said, the two people entered the bank, and the woman passed a note to a teller that demanded money and implied she had a weapon.

The two robbers left the bank and were last seen fleeing on foot.

Raleigh police said the woman had been in the bank about an hour before the robbery. She is described as a black female with light to medium skin tone, approximately 16 to 22 years old. She is about 5 feet 2 inches and weighs about 100 pounds. She was wearing a black "puffy" jacket and dark jeans. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail.

The other assailant is a black male with dark skin tone, approximately 18 to 22 years old. He is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt over a long white T-shirt and light-colored blue jeans. He had short hair and no facial hair.
