<b>LUMBERTON, N.C.</b> — Detectives in Lumberton say four girls beat a pregnant woman with a baseball bat.

Marquita Evans, 22, is listed in good condition.  She's five months pregnant, but there is no word on the condition of her unborn child.

Lumberton police said the girls were fighting with Evans' sister. When Evans stepped in, the girls allegedly attacked her.
