NCTA Adds Three Members to Board of Directors

RALEIGH, N.C. — The

North Carolina Technology Association

has named three new members to its board of directors for three-year terms.

Joining the board are: Keith Collins, senior vice president and chief technology officer at SAS in Cary; Nicholas Kottyan, chief executive officer of DataChambers in Greensboro; and Phil Hynes, vice president and general manager of detection systems for General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products in Charlotte.

Collins, a graduate of North Carolina State University, led the development of SAS 9, the latest release of the company's business intelligence software.

Kottyan, a graduate of Wayland Baptist University who earned an MBA at Pfeiffer University, has more than 25 years of experience in telecommunications. He has held executive positions with Peak 10, CT Communications and Teledial America of North Carolina.

Hynes, who graduated from Bentley College, took his current position at General Dynamics in January. He served as vice president for strategic planning and business integration from 2002-2006.
