SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. — Sampson County officers have found the body of a man missing for two weeks.
Searchers in a helicopter spotted Delbert Mooring's remains in a swamp in the southern part of the county. He walked away from a rest home in Ivanhoe on April 6th. They believe Mooring died from natural causes, but they will conduct an autopsy.
