RALEIGH — Wake County Sheriff John Baker is listed in satisfactory condition at a Raleigh hospital.
A WakeMed spokesperson says Baker entered the hospital Tuesday night for routine tests.
Baker, who is serving his sixth term inoffice, is up for re-election next year.He is the state's longest-serving sheriff.
