Arrest Made in Early Morning House Fire

RALEIGH — Raleigh police have made an arrest in one early morning house fire and are investigating another.

Police arrested and charged a suspect in connection with a fire at at 1201 East Lane Street Tuesday morning.

The fire started around 1 a.m. Witnesses say that large flames were visible inside the home.

Fire investigators say the cause appears to be arson. No one was hurt.

Investigators are searching for the cause of a second fire that happened about ten minutes later at 715 Florence Street.

A family was displaced, but no one was injured.
