HOLLY SPRINGS — A Holly Springs couple is celebrating the birth of their first child, four times over.
Ted and Julie Pehowic welcomed quadruplets Stosh, Noah, Rivkah and Nuriel on June 16. They were 12 weeks premature. The Pehowic's had been trying to have children for eight years.
"I'd always wanted four kids and I guess you have to be careful what you wish for. Or at least specify you want them at different times," Julie said.
The babies are doing well and gaining weight. Ted and Julie hope to bring them all home in a few months.
There will be a community baby shower for the Pehowics August 11 from 10 a.m. until noon at Tangram Enterprise Solutions in Cary's Regency Park.
