TARBORO, N.C. — Investigators in Edgecombe county are looking for an inmate who escaped from jail Sunday morning.
Lamont King was one of two men who broke out of jail.
Jailers said the two climbed a wall in an exercise yard and cut a hole in an outer fence.
One of the escapees was caught, but King got away.
He was in custody on drug charges. A reward is offered for his capture.
