LUMBERTON — A high speed chase along Interstate 95 near Lumberton Sunday morning ended in a deadly crash.
State troopers say Kamal Cespedes, 16, of Florida was speeding and dodging in and out of traffic when he lost control of the car he was driving.
The car hit a guardrail and flipped over several times. Cespedes was killed; his sister was treated and released from Duke Medical Center.
The woman's two young children were also inside the car, but were not seriously hurt.
Troopers say the car was stolen, and the driver did not have a license.
