GOLDSBORO — Talking about sex is difficult, but a group of students is using some straight talk to get the message out.
Students from Goldsboro are hanging up posters that warn people about the dangers of having sex, but pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease are not their only concern.
They want people to know that sex with a minor is illegal and could land you in jail.
"Take it real seriously. Sometimes they think, 'You know my friends are doing it, so why don't I try it,' but you should be a leader and not a follower," says volunteer Walter Gaddy.
The posters are sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club of Wayne County and a group called WATCH. The group also plans to visit in Fremont and Mount Olive later this month.
